Our basic workstation

• No licensing fees! We feature the Debian GNU/Linux distribution.
• Little or no training is required for persons who are already familiar with Windows or Macintosh systems.
• This workstation can be configured to include any of the following:
  • Modern graphical user interface (X-Windows, Gnome, KDE, etc.)
  • OpenOffice.org office suite: everything you need, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation manager, etc
  • A choice of web browsers, including Mozilla/Firefox
  • Various email and instant messaging clients
  • Gimp photo and image processing
  • A full range of Unix-style utilities
  • . . . and any other GNU/Linux application
